Pink Dress

Costume for "The Maiden" - 2006.

Dress - Light pink linen, lined with light pink bemsilk.

Bodice - Brilliant red linen, lined with interfacing to stiffen and light pink bemsilk. 6 pieces of boning to shape and uplift, and finished with gold satin ribbon threaded through metal eyelets.

Cuffs - Brilliant red linen, lined with interfacing to stiffen and light pink bemsilk, and tied with gold satin ribbon. I used the sewing machine to sew around the holes instead of eyelets.

Necklace - Glass beads in pale pink and amber with gold spacers.
